The bear is so adorable. He doesn’t have all the ‘bells and whistles’ as the panda cub, but still! The little guy is just awesome, plus it’s one more pet towards that little stinker.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Blizzard gave everyone a pet on their personal anniversary – either on the anniversary of their account creation, or on the anniversary of each toon’s creation

BTW Baby Polar Bears were trainable by Hunters in the Wrath Beta as exotic pets, but Blizzard said it was a bug and stopped it. (The graphics did look a bit odd when scaled up to hunter pet size). But Blizzard must have made a note of the cute factor at the time

hahaha I know how that one goes… my achievement screen tells me I’ve spent almost 300g in the barbers shop so far oO

I logged on and got him on my troll shammy on a different server to my main due to the server ques at the time. How long with this “offer” be available?

@Archmera: He would be my new favorite if everyone didn’t have one. As it is, he’s ONE of my favorites still. Those of you who played EverQuest 1 might remember that Druids in that game actually got a brown baby bear pet (affectionally referred to as “Booboo”) that was essentially worthless but completely adorable. I suppose that’s one of the reasons this pet feels so Druid-y!

@Nianal: He may not have the sleeping animation like the panda, but I love the fact that he at least sits down, especially while I’m fishing. It looks like he’s waiting patiently for his Glacial Salmon treat.
@Anelf: A pet on your personal anniversary would be really cool. Heck, a cake or a cupcake on your personal anniversary would be nice!

@Riverwish: OMG, River. I thought that I was bad, but I’m only 80 gold. The hair shop IS addictive. I changed my hair before a Violet Hold run the other day and then again afterwards, and Mr. Phae asked me why I was changing it again so soon. I said “well, that was my INSTANCE hair. This is my run about town hair!”

Haha Phae, I also have moonkin hair and levelling hair now too! My man bear just rolls his eyes at me now, he knows mentioning it won’t change anything
@Riverwish: You think that’s something, I switched my hair for PvE vs. PvP (short hair for Wintergrasp cos PvP is srs bzns).
