@Ryan: Honestly, I think that Druids /dance because our animal forms’ dances bring us together and heighten the fact that we have something in common more than any other class. If you play a Warlock, your /dance is race-dependent. But a Druid’s dances are the same, regardless of faction. I had seen your post earlier and really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing!

What is it about druids that causes us to dance so easily? I’m not someone who generally joins into group activities but I just can resist a good druid dance party. It could be like the one we had a bloodscalp a few months ago (http://hewasascarybear.blogspot.com/2008/07/druids-dance-with-so-little-provocation.html – if anyone cares) or just a couple of druids guarding the blacksmith. If one druid starts dancing… I can’t help myself.

@Lorelle: Thanks for weighing in, Lorelle! Yeah, I’m slowly learning to compartmentalize my guilt at not keeping up with everything the way that I would love to if I had infinite time. I can see why you opted to make a career out of blogging as it is VERY rewarding, but it certainly comes with its share of demands. Once again, great blog; I’m sure I’m not the only one that finds it so inspirational.

@Furble: I’m surprised that I haven’t shown any signs of fizzling. There have been a couple of times that I went on vacation that I was preoccupied with the worry that the desire to blog might not return when I got back home, but that hasn’t happened, yet. In fact, even when my interest in the game waned significantly, I still wanted to blog!

It looks like your blog is doing great! I’ve bookmarked it for my next community spotlight.

I’m so glad you “got” the point of my recent Blog Struggles article. There are some days when the weight of it all becomes a bit much, but you learn to cope. The purpose of my Blog Struggles article series is to get people thinking about how they blog, why they blog, and that they are not alone with all the struggles blogging entails. So glad you got it and are learning to make decisions to prevent blog burnout and keep the passion flames fired up!
