Phaelia Player-Created Hairstyles Awe and Amaze

Disappointed with the lackluster hairstyle offerings currently being previewed in beta, Beta Tester Kxara has released several remodeled hairstyles. Shown below are two colors of her highly Druid-appropriate Night Elf female hairstyle entitled “Nymph”:

She’s also created several amazing styles for Troll females that are leaps and bounds beyond the current (and future) options. You can check them — and many other styles — out here.

Oh that’s beautiful. I’d love http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/Sakurelf/wedding-1.jpg for my Kaibear, though. Toss some flowers in there, and it’d be PERFECT for what I want. =)

Very well done, I really wish Blizzard would pay more attention to player’s with such creativity and initiative like this. It’s a real shame that this will probably go unnoticed and ultimately ignored by Blizzard…

    well done anyway man.

    Hurray for hairstyles!

Honestly, with this player and a certain well-known but not allowed Druid model pack, I believe that Blizzard would do well to scout the playerbase for talent.
Artistic renders, addon creation, Ipod compatibility, enhanced search options are all things that players seem to do quicker and with more “passion”.

Either way, I am already happy that hairstyle changes were implemented in the first place, and this just is icing on the cake!

Kudos to Kxara for the effort!

I need this! I had wanted new hair for Syd pretty badly, but they chose terrible styles for night elves. I was actually happier with the human ones, and both my warlock and paladin are getting new styles. I hope someone takes notice! That, and I need seasonally-shifting leaf colors. Then I’ll be happy. Hint:what we have now is winter.

I certainly enjoyed looking through these styles. I really do hope that Blizzard takes a good look at these. It’s too bad we can’t have battle afros. =/

@Kai: I’d love that hairstyle, too, but I think Nymph is still a little more Druid looking. Wedding looks like you’d need a lot of hairspray to achieve. Pinesap, perhaps?

@Zuggy: Definitely agree. With these hairstyles and Andrige’s form modifications, we’d be looking at a prettier game.

@Natarumah: Ipod … compatibility? Really? Spin right for Lifebloom and left for Regrowth? :-)

@Sydera: I like the new Night Elf styles OKAY, with the exception of “Soaked” which looks like a fish is glued to your head. My favorites are the double looped braids, the gathered hair with a single braid, and the short pixie cut. And I have always thought of Tree of Life looking more autumnal than winter. WTB snow-covered boughs.

@Zackoria: Battle mohawks are bad enough!

Phaelia’s Vestments of the Sprouting Seed (45)

Hey Phaelia I was so delighted during raid time this week to receive these vestments. Since first reading about them I wanted to wear them. I told the story of them when I recieved them so everybody would know they were named after you and your unborn baby. They loved this. How is everything going? Is your baby born?

@alan sounds like a cool idea, maybe like the little pikmin things with a huge army of ants doing battle for you, too bad it would prolly be too much for others processing to have 5 people in a raid that had 100 pets each running around fighting.

Armor Pen has been updated, and it is now over powered…Stacking this is now the best way to drasticly increase your dps, don’t go out of your way to get it, most uldar feral gear has a healthy amount of Arm. Pen. As well stacking some AP gems is very usefull.

Our bear friends are relevant soakers due to HP they have, but lack of avoidance (except of dodge of course) makes them harder to heal. But at least it means less overheal :-) Pallys are great trash tankers but might face problems with spellers due to OOM or just a lack of spell defend abilities. If your group is about to kill raid boss with some spell abilities, high constant melee damage and bleed/spell resistances better get decent warrior.

Hi, great post and good resources, but could you possibly correct the link to wowmodelviewer.org as it’s missing the wow. The domain you are linking to is a spamvertising domain with popups galore which could possibly end up being wholly inappropriate. Ta! Everwraths last blog post..50 Mount Achievement
