Fridays at my workplace are considered “casual” in that you’re allowed to wear jeans, tennis shoes, and T-shirts. I haven’t historically been a big T-shirt collector and have previously pretty much just rotated between my Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, and J!NX Druid tees. Today, however, I had the chance to wear one of my very own Tree-Shirts, one with the Positive Carbon Footprint Tree created by my friend, Jamie:

Now I just need a second mousepad for my trackball! |
The shirt is a Yoga-style tee that was tighter than I anticipated, despite sizing up to a Medium at the product’s recommendation. I love it with a jacket, though I’ve discontinued the shirt type for fear others might run into the same problem. I also purchased an Arena Pole Dancer shirt but quickly realized that it wouldn’t exactly be safe for work wear, no matter how “casual” the dress code on Fridays! Perhaps my favorite item, however, is the Resto4Life mousepad I ordered. Let’s just hope my boss doesn’t notice it and decide to Google the term!

Looks good. Everything that is. /blush.
I’m tempted to buy a Tree-Shirt of my very own, but alas… debt has overcome me… maybe someday soon.
About a year ago, I did buy a few shirt from Jinx, the Barrens Chat one, Green Linen Shirt and the Hunter symbol one. I don’t wear the hunter one much anymore.

Another warning for you Phae: the regular ladies’ tees run large-ish! They are not quite, but almost, as large as the corresponding men’s sizes. I’ve been on a campaign to shrink mine by washing in hot water.
I wish I could order a lot of those shirts, but unfortunately my parents don’t have a credit card and aren’t willing to get one just so I can get shirts. :’(

I just haven’t had the funds myself to buy a shirt, or i would buy the positive carbon footprint one in a heart beat. Saving up for collage and what not and i already spent more than i probably should have on Soul Caliber 4… >_< I think i could justify getting the mouse pad though somehow. I could use another one. :p
And i count three trees in that picture. ^_^ That’s a very nice pic of you by the way.
@Donji: *blush* I’ve been really happy with my Druid shirt from Jynx. I just wish they had a few more options since my “WoW pride” only extends as far as my class pride. I.e., I’d rather look like a dork for Druidity than for simply playing WoW!
@Razorbax: Wow … that is so adorable. Thanks for sharing it with me! That particular craft looks like it would be a LOT of fun! Maybe some day…
@Sydera: Thanks for the heads-up! I generally order “small” because I like my shirts somewhat tight-fitting, so hopefully I wouldn’t have too much of a problem — which type of shirt did you order (ladies’ heavyweight, ladies’ lightweight, etc.) so I know what to look for?
@Gelaende: No worries.
I’m just happy to hear that you like them enough to want one!
@Zackoria: Ooo – college is definitely way more important than a Tree-Shirt. A mousepad would definitely look good in your dorm, though.
Thanks for the compliment!
@Phae: I could care less either way, I’m a big nerd in every sense of the word. I display my geekiness when I get the chance to and I could care less what others say. Heck, I work in tech support… everyone around me (most of us) are huge nerds, so it bothers me none.
@Donjio: I’m in IT, too! I get some pretty funny looks when people come down to the basement and see one wall of my cubicle covered in comic book posters.
My shirt is ladies heavyweight–the medium is like a large or extra large.
@Sydera: Thanks for the heads-up!
