From gear to Reputation grinds to non-combat pet collections, Blizzard seems keen to make players feel like they’re making progress. Unlike many competitors, however, they have yet to add the most significant, non-combat progression path: player housing.

The photo above was sent in by reader Jhestaur of Gnomeregan (US) who writes:

I enjoy your blog and read it frequently, and figured you would get a kick out of this.

Recently, I rerolled Horde on a new server to play with my fiancee, who had real life friends on Gnomeregan. I decided to play a Druid… and have been hooked on healing ever since. I plan on making my Druid my first character to 80 when Wrath hits, branches and all.

So much so, in fact, that when I recently purchased a new (used) car I decided to adorn it with something descriptive of my lifestyle:

Wow, I must say that I’m quite jealous. I’d love to have one of these vanity plates, especially if it came attached to a swanky silver Saab! Thanks, Jhestaur! That’s really awesome!

    Great car! I have a ’02 Saab 9-5 Aero myself, silvermetallic. :)

    Btw, any of you in WOTLK beta? Does “Inscription” use Herbs?
    I was thinking of skilling up herbalism while i wait.

    Just in case anyone was interested in something similar;

    http://www.customeuropeanplates.com

    That is the website I ordered the plate from, they have various color combinations and logos. Mine was approximately (with mounting hardware) sixty bucks.

    @shifthappens: yes, it has been said that inscription will work with herbs, so you’ll be golden if you level it up. Planning on it with my new druid :)

    @Zackoria: No wai! I want a new video card! ^_^

    @Loronar: Yeah, I’d have to put that up in my cubicle at work. Though that might clue coworkers into the amount of time I spend blogging, so maybe that’s not a good idea….

    @Shifthappens: Not in the beta, but yes Inscription will primarily use herbs.

    @Jhestaur: Oh, cool! Thanks. I almost asked you where you got it. =)

    @Donjio: I’m actually planning on dropping Leatherworking or Tailoring for Inscription.

    @Warscreamer: Sorry to be a n00b, but … I don’t get it. =(

    Oh, jeez.

    You know, when I was re-registering my car out here in the Midwest, I seriously considered getting “Runycat” on the back. Unfortunately, I was too cheap to go through with it, but this is pretty awesome.

    Especially on such a nice car.

    @Runycat: That. Would be. Awesome. You totally should do that next time you register!

Hey, Stormwalker! Great to hear from you! Our little sprout is growing fast, but don’t call him “little” when he’s around or he’s sure to tell you “I a little bit big!” :-)

Stormwalker
I…I…kinda miss you and your Druidic writings of old. Good to see you’re still around, busy with RL. The little sproutling looks a little bigger now! Regards, Stormwalker, of old.

Over two years later and this is still relevant and so very helpful. I hope you are having a blast with your little sprout, who’s probably running all over the place now. =D

Hi, Too bad this blog is no longer maimtained. Thanks for you post though. I wanted to address the issue of lefties. I am on, and use the N52TE. I use a trackball with my right hand and the n52TE with my left, no problems.
