I was honored to be invited onto the Epic Dolls podcast for some Druid-based discussion this weekend. Having never been on a podcast before, I was a little nervous at first, but I had a wonderful, wonderful time and am so happy they asked me! The whole show is 84 minutes long, and you can download it from the Epic Dolls web site. Thanks, Leala and Rae!

If you’ve ever tried the popular unitframes addon, Grid, but been daunted by its many available options, this is the article for you! It takes you step-by-step through the process of configuring Grid to deliver useful information in an intuitive way.
Nice job, noob.
=D
Actually, the clarity of the podcast was pretty good; I could hear you well without having to crank up the volume. It was a little difficult to distinguish who was talking at times, but still, I enjoyed.
I really liked it!
The parts on feral druids were a bit sketchy, but that’s to be expected with die hard trees and owls on the show
And I think the show would have to be twice as long to even begin to cover all the aspects of the druid, there’s just so much to our class. We’re not Rogues, it’s not all “We stand there and hit stuff!”

@Runycat: Any of my n00bishness can be traced directly back to the AIM conversation where I asked you about Bears and Kittehs!
@Kuhbi: I’m very glad you enjoyed it! And I hope I didn’t seem too clueless when it came to talking about Feral. =) I was glad that Rae has experience as a Laser Chicken, at least!
I’m very interested about the add on Grids that you mention in the show. Is that an upcoming article, or one you have done in the past?
@Copey: That’s actually something I wrote last week. You can check it out here!
Hi Phae,
. Two claws up!
I, too, thought you did a great job. Was my first time listening to Epic Dolls and I think they will become a regular thing for me. You did not seems at all clueless and it was clear there was preparation beforehand, always a nice thing to propel an interview along

I’ll have to listen to Epic Dolls again, I started losing track of them. My GM and I were guests on one of the earliest podcasts, about our all-girl guild Daughters of the Horde, and it’s quite nerve-wracking to suddenly be ‘on air’, isn’t it?
Kadomis last blog post..This past weekend, part I
@Eustashius: Thank you! And, yes, I did prepare ahead of time. They were kind enough to give me a list of the questions that would be asked and I spent Friday making an outline so I wouldn’t forget to mention anything important (also, so that I could ask Runycat of Unbearably HoT about Feral stuff).
@Kadomi: It was quite nerve-wracking! I had some technical issues with my mic and felt terrible that I was holding them up while I swapped hardware. Do you remember which episode you were on? I’d love to give it a listen!
Kadomi! You must come back and talk about warriors with us! =)
It was wwaaaayyy back in the day. Like episode 4 so its nearly a year old at this point. hehe
Woot woot Phae! Awesome podcast!
I loved the ‘hug a tree for good luck’ part. That was my favorite part. Ive never heard that one before. But we all know why its good luck though. You hug us and we give you extra heals! ^_^
You talked about going balance because it was closer to the healer mind set then feral. I actually prefer melee when im dps and yet i love healing strangely enough. I actually have gotten yelled at before for staying too close to the tank on ocassion. >.>
Im actually always in the tank group since my resto counter part in raids focuses more on haste than i do for more regrowths and swiftmends, whereas i have more spirit than he does.
and ninnervate = air conditioning? hehe ^_^
Oh and lets not forget “trees! i can summon trees!” i laughed out loud when Rae said that.
@Zackoria: Hahaha, that was my thought exactly. /hug me for heals. =) That’s cool that you prefer Feral for your DPS spec to Balance. In Wrath, you will be able to switch between a tank and a healer if they implement that spec swap! Of course, you’ll probably have to collect two different sets of gear to do both (unlike Balance/Resto who will have a fair amount of overlap).
