@Zackoria: I think that Paladins *would* be interesting to calculate … for a Paladin blog. They just have so many more parameters (spell crit, for instance) that don’t apply to Druids or factor into any of the formulas used for the current MRC. Maybe we’ll get lucky and this topic will be tackled by a great Paladin blogger. I made the JavaScript highly visible in the hopes that others would be inspired to build their own utilities.

I saw that you were featured at WoWinsider the other day and I did a /cheer! ^_^

I’ve never heard of this Epic dolls before though. Now I must investigate.

I also agree that as far as regen is concerned shammys and pallys are in leagues of their own. Shammys are pretty easy to itemize for regen so aside from Mana Tide I don’t see any reason to include them in the calculator. Pallys might be interesting to calculate though.

@Bob: Shamans could be included but it wouldn't really be relevant as they don't have talents like Intensity or Meditation. Instead, their mana regeneration is based around the use of things like totems and Water Shield. These two dynamics are vastly different than the ones factored into the MRC (which focuses on those classes that are Spirit/Intellect-based rather than MP5 based). For the same reason, it doesn't attempt to address regeneration for Paladins. From 2.4 Mana Regen: The Basics:

Notably, all mana users will now use the same base formula for their mana regeneration with no more delineations by class. Classes like the Druid and Priest will still derive additional benefit when talenting Intensity and Meditation, however, and the Druid spell Innervate means that we get an even larger benefit than most.

The MRC was originally built for Druids but there were natural, easily added changes that made it applicable to Priests and Mages. Not so for Shamans who essentially operate off an entirely different framework.
