@Ellabelle: Oh, thank you for the correction to Bangle. 130 is such an odd number that it's not the first time I've made that mistake.

I have long since retired my Bangle of Endless Blessings in favor of a Darkmoon: Card Blue Dragon and the Essence of the Martyr. My mana regen is stellar in live right now, so I figured I would use that slot to boost +Healing instead. :-)

I love your site - totally rocks and is helping me reevaluate my healing style. I suffer from a healing addiction (I have a holy priest and a resto druid and love to play both) and find it informative for both my healers. Thanks for all your work!

Just an error I noticed though about the Bangle: "additional 140 Spirit for 20 seconds." I believe it is only 130 Spirit. On that note though, what do you think of the Bangle if you're not using it on innervate anymore - any worthy trinekts to replace it with or do you still wear it and just use it for the improved regen during fights?

Thanks again!!

@Sarothe: I've been trying out CasterWeaponSwapper tonight. It's pretty great, even if it DOES mean I'll end up logging out in my high-Intellect weapon. ^_^

@Saxifrage: I can't imagine that prior to level 70 that you'd ever have the stats to get more mana back than your mana pool can hold. It's likely only going to come into play once you've progressed into T5 raiding content and beyond. Good question, though. :-)

Hmm, I'm always spam-healing when I use innervate, so regenerating more mana than my mana pool can hold is never a problem. I haven't found a reason to hobble my innervate due to wasted regen. I'm still a few levels from 70, is this something that comes into play post-70?

@Erdluf: You're right. I will have to start doing that. =)

@Gararf: You're right - that can't be done with macros (nor, I think, could it ever have been). Though CasterWeaponSwapper will do the same thing. =)

@Walkere: Hey, thanks for the tip! I have added a link your article on setting up Outfitter to accomplish the weapon swap to the article above and will be trying that out myself. I do, however, hope that Innervate is never changed to be a % of mana. That would a) make it more attractive to ALL non-Spirit based mana users and b) make it far less effective for us.

Rather than make a whole new add on, you may be able to work out a lot of that functionality with the Outfitter add-on. If you look in the <a href="http://wobbleworks.com/outfitter/manual/#Scripts" rel="nofollow">manual</a>, there is a section about writing scripts.

I used to use the Evocate outfit to automatically switch gear while Evocating. It looks like you can write a script to scan the chat log for a certain event (like when Innervate is cast on you) and have Outfitter automatically swap the weapons in for you.

I'd think that any right-minded druid would want to have something like Outfitter anyway (do you really want to click all those gear pieces to go from Resto gear to Feral gear?), so it shouldn't be a burden to create an Innervate outfit and add the script (provided someone comes up with a working script).

On a side note, I was thrilled when I heard that Evocation was having its effect changed to simply restore 60% of mana, rather than work off of mana regen mechanics. I wonder if they're ever going to change Innervate in a similar way...?

what would be useful here is a macro that checks your mana levels and changes weapon for you. though i dont think thats possible anymore with macros.
sounds like an idea for a new addon coming on...
