This gives me a ton of regen and decent +heal for pre-kara. It's also usually easily available on the auction house for 100-200 gold. I replaced my ring of blood mace with this switching strategy (which I find doesn't work for heroics since you don't have a global cooldown to spare!:) ) It's just got no stats which is why I use it for regen only. Used the mace from the Ring of Blood quest in Nagrand until I got this one. Had a few peeps that use the staff from 2nd boss in SV.
