Green boobs, hehe. Brings a whole new meaning to "green thumb". :P

I actually like the moonkin form the best out of all the forms. I dont know why, yet my moonkin friend is very territorial. Oh well, (starts to tree dance) cant beat that!

Hrm. Nice way to use your first feral post on a resto site to trash talk the balance shape!

;-D

Anyway, I agree that the moonkin is definitely an acquired taste, but so is the Tree of Life. Luckily our dances make up for oafish models. Once you get into it, owlbeasts have their own kind of dignity; I love having a big fat laser chicken alter ego, makes my night elf seem a little less sadface. And while I'm definitely for more customization and uniqueness, I'm wary about allowing tabards and armor to cover my feathers. Like Phae mentioned months ago, I'd prefer nothing more than colour options available through a groomer in Moonglade. She'd like the Ashenvale ent with purple leaves, I'd like the Winterspring moonkin with white plumage.

Personally, I take less issue with ZA loot than I do my horrid red pajamas - Spellstrike pants. They're the best for my spec, but good lord theres no hiding them. A CE tabard can only do so much.

As for hawtness and suggestions to rectify rather embarrassing situations: Wasn't there rumors not too long ago about having our character screens have gear tabs, similar to what ItemRack and Outfitter already do? And that one option was "appearance" while another was "statistics"? Meaning: You could chose one tab to show you in full Elwynn farmer regalia, while retaining the stats of tab2 - full Malorne? I think EQ2 does that, but I heard Wrath was going to be bringing something similar to WoW. I know I'd be [not] dressing like Staghelm every day if I could keep my +1K spelldmg.

And while you might think the other trees' shapes are silly: I think Ferals need a specific shape as well. I'm all about sharing the love. What say you?

I'm looking forward to your future posts! But, I definitely disagree with changing the moonkin. The owl beast was a huge reason I chose balance spec and if they ever made it anything but ugly then I'd probably go play a ret pally. It's a great feeling to pop out of stealth right on top of someone and straight into moonkin form. A loud laser chicken roar combined with the massive size of an owl beast is a shocking event when not expected.

Now, I'd love it if they made the moonkin display the gear you're wearing. We already get all humaniod abilities (nothing like seeing a big moonkin mine a tiny fel iron node) and you can see our weapon, but why not stick a dress and tabard on our birdy?

I've been feral most of the past year, with the occasional resto weeks when I felt like it. I'm now thinking of grabbing a moonkin set (300 badges or so...) just for the occasional run (being kitty on the Vashj elementals is no fun).

Oh, bout the looks: http://grumpycoder.net/signatures/282880261a880543d592b4f2b3433984/signature.jpg
That's me logged out in resto gear, which has badges shoulders and some ZA head. I actually like the look, but I think I'm the only one :P

Healing gear may be hawt, but when I put on my Tier 6 robe and took off my CE tabard for the first time, wow. Talk about uh, revealing? Sort of like a chain mail mesh, only very large gaps (and of course leather).

Welcome to Resto4Life/Feral4Death :P I look forward to reading your material :)

-laughs- I agree with you. Although a lifetime feral -- but sometimes resto, depending on raid needs, -- I enjoy looking at the pretty dresses available for healing gear. (Currently, the Masquerade Gown). For me, I can't stand seeing my Losse wearing... well. Not a dress. Even if her clothing matched, it just seems awkward for me. Which is probably the reason why I always run around in a form (that, and speed increases are nice).

Moonkins... the only positive thing I can say about them is that they have the best dance out of all of the forms. Owl-bears just aren't as comely as a cat (although they may just be better than a bear rear, but that may just be because I am tired of staring at it from an enclosed space).

If I felt more secure about my healing skills, and if I didn't need the druid to farm (at least, until my hunter reaches seventy), I'd be a tree and enjoying the pretty dress and crown every possible moment.

By the way: "“I just got pwnt by a shirtless elf! I suck!”" <-- Gold.
