Druids (Not) to Pick Locks in Cat Form

A not-so-brave Druid brother recently posted an entreatment that Druids logically be given the ability to pick locks in Cat Form:
Druids should be able to lockpick in Cat Form. The reason?
Well, Priests steal our heal ability.
Warriors steal our tanking ability.
Shaman steal our casting attacks.
Warlocks steal our damage over times.
And Rogues steal our stealth ability.So, we should at least be able to steal ONE ability from another class…. so I think that should be lockpicking in Cat Form.
Give Druids some love Blizz… stop letting other classes steal all our abilities. Thanks.
Typically not treating this subject with the sobriety it deserves, Community Manager Bornakk responds:
Is it not seen as love when it takes a list of five classes to talk about everything you can do?
So it seems that we will continue to suffer beneath this unnecessary and unfair handicap. Just as we cannot fulfill the task of resurrecting our fallen comrades, so too can we not perform this simplest of tasks: opening treasure chests.
P.S. I can’t tell you how much cat poo I’ve give Valenna about this same “issue”!

OF course not!
The others are stealing us…
We DO NOT copy from the others. We are not copycat (okok, this one was easy..)
Druid is almost le oldest class in the game… think of Mother Nature etc. etc.
So, we are at the origin of thoses abilities.
Druids are fine. Druids are pioneer!
If cats could pick locks I’d see no reason not to allow the existance of Tauren rogues =_=

Perhaps we should get a pickpocket ability. Of course, it would only work on tasty pieces of food. Oh, were you going to eat that? >_>
For my part, some serious thought lead me to drop skinning pre-BC to level engineering to fill in some of the gaps. Nowadays, with seaforium opening locked chests and the parachute cloak on a mere 30-second cooldown, that choice makes me happier than ever.
Strange how a Moonfire cannot break/melt a simple lock.
However, a Moonfire can break/melt a simple ‘lock.
(I’m sorry, that was terrible.)
Let’s not start asking for lockpicking when we don’t have our OOC rez and Indoor Roots, m’dear.

All seriousness, I wanna Track Beasts too! And Track Hidden! Seeing as how druids are all three (Humanoids/Beasts/Hidden) at once whenever they stealth, cmon now.

Damn Right! As Jacks-of-all-trades, masters-of-only-one-at-a-time-unless-you-have-three-sets-of-gear-and-are-willing-to-respec-in-order-to-preform-any-other-major-fuction-to-any-sort-of-feasible-extent, Druids should also get the “Mortal Bite” ability, because warriors stole that from us too! “Bash Lock” ability should then be available to warriors; Mages should get “Knock” spell (a little D&D reference there) and Warlocks DEFINITELY need a “Fear Lock” spell that causes the lock to open in fear for up to 15 seconds.
Some people make me laugh, others make me laugh harder, but in the end I always tell myself that their RL spec Idiot-11/Retartd-8/Moron-42 and it all makes sense
If I don’t get a freaking rez in Wrath I might lose my last marble.
Said marble is currently endangered by all the people screaming Resto nerfs because of 2v2s, though.
i will submit to most creative ideas when it comes to class mechanics and the changing thereof. but to this one i say, hell no! i mean wtf, you dont even have thumbs in kitty form! and you cant pick a lock with just those scratchy little nails…
…however, i do have to agree with the CM. druids get many lurvs. especially from me…

I heard Hunters were going to get the Jack Burton ability which opens locks next patch though. =P

@Valenna: I also heard that hunters are getting a bazooka kinda weapon that can blast pillars in arena and allow them to get to people hiding behind them dotting…
