Phaelia Season 3 Armor Values Released

Season 3 Preview on Male HumanThe folks over at MMO Champion are currently previewing the stats (and aesthetics) for Season 3 armor. The trend of inflating the armor values of cloth-wearers to nearly the level of leather wearers apparently continues in Season 3 with the following total armor values for 5-piece Season 3 armor:

  • Priest: 1903 (3.0% increase)
  • Mage: 1903 (3.6% increase)
  • Warlock: 1903 (3.6% increase)
  • Restoration Druid: 2088 (6.3% increase)
  • Rogue: 2186 (25.63% increase)

Huzzah for the Rogues whose armor values are seeing a significant increase after being the squishiest targets in Season 2. I’m happy, at least, to be seeing a larger percent increase than the clothies. There is a a 9.7% difference in armor between Restoration Druids and Holy Priests in Season 3, up from the 6.3% difference of Season 2 (yay). I’m still of the opinion that the difference is too marginal, but at least it’s a step in the right direction.

Phaelia’s Vestments of the Sprouting Seed (45)

Hey Phaelia I was so delighted during raid time this week to receive these vestments. Since first reading about them I wanted to wear them. I told the story of them when I recieved them so everybody would know they were named after you and your unborn baby. They loved this. How is everything going? Is your baby born?

@alan sounds like a cool idea, maybe like the little pikmin things with a huge army of ants doing battle for you, too bad it would prolly be too much for others processing to have 5 people in a raid that had 100 pets each running around fighting.

Armor Pen has been updated, and it is now over powered…Stacking this is now the best way to drasticly increase your dps, don’t go out of your way to get it, most uldar feral gear has a healthy amount of Arm. Pen. As well stacking some AP gems is very usefull.

Our bear friends are relevant soakers due to HP they have, but lack of avoidance (except of dodge of course) makes them harder to heal. But at least it means less overheal :-) Pallys are great trash tankers but might face problems with spellers due to OOM or just a lack of spell defend abilities. If your group is about to kill raid boss with some spell abilities, high constant melee damage and bleed/spell resistances better get decent warrior.

Hi, great post and good resources, but could you possibly correct the link to wowmodelviewer.org as it’s missing the wow. The domain you are linking to is a spamvertising domain with popups galore which could possibly end up being wholly inappropriate. Ta! Everwraths last blog post..50 Mount Achievement
