I’d like to share a few of my desires for the World … of Warcraft:
- I want an addon that makes a cat “MREOW!” sound every time I use Pounce. And one that makes the sound of a rocket going off whenever I Feral Charge (Rocket Bear).
I want a non-combat pet that’s really a dog and NOT an ugly Worg. Oh and one of those cute skunk critters you find in Terrokar Forest.- I want more interesting “flavor” bits to be found in chests while fishing. One can only use a smoke flare beside someone and use the /stink emote so many times before it’s not funny anymore (I have been told the number of times where it’s actually funny is somewhere between 0 and 1).
- I want out of combat resurrection. And it shall have purple light to indicate its vast superiority over that possessed by all other healing classes, thus ensuring that they never be offered groups again.
I want a flying Unicorn. This is about the only flying mount I’d be willing to grind reputation for and pay extra money to acquire. I had hopes for the new Cenarion Expedition flying mount, but alas, it’s a Hippogryph.- Along those same lines, I want to be able to carry gnomes on my back in Flight Form, Cheetah Form, and Bear Form. Mounting would have to be with mutual consent, of course. “Nesbit would like to mount you. Do you agree? Yes/No/Report Sexual Harassment”
- I want to win the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza. And I want to smack people fishing in my Tasty Fish pools with a week old, 10 lb. salmon.
- I want an addon that gives me points for maintaining Heals over Time. And shouts “Combo!”, “Combo x 2!”, etc. when I get multiple HoTs running. Extra point modifiers for keeping them running on multiple targets (1 target = 100%, 2 targets = 150%, 3 targets = 175%). Throw in some DDR-esque “GOOD!” “GREAT!” and “PERFECT!” for casting Lifebloom closer to its expiration. Add some wonky techno music and boring Kara runs would never be the same.
So if you were delivering orders at Blizzard, what things would YOU want?

I would love a unicorn flying mount.

Right now I’m stuck with grinding the rest of the gold for epic flying though.

1) I want to be able to pick the colour (color if American) of my shapeshift forms

1. Alliance amulet around the neck of Night Elf Trees of Life. Horde Medallions on Taurens.
2. Tree of Life leaves changing with the seasons is an AMAZING idea. Make it so.
3. More emotes for feral forms, moonkin form. More audio clips for each form as well.
4. Swim speed aura for party members when in Aquatic form. A few special attacks in aquatic form would be nice too. “Gore” plz.
5. Out of combat, reagent-less Rebirth for Resto druids that take Tree of Life. Indoors Entangling Roots for Balance Druids that take Moonkin Form. Swiftshifting (bear-to-cat-to-bear) for Ferals that take Leader of the Pack.
6. The ability to trap random Critters and make them Non-Combat Pets. Then the ability to name Non-Combat Pets.
7. Non-Combat Pets to have a passive buff on its owner. For example: Sprite Darter Hatchling offers 2mp5; Hawk Owl offers 4 Intellect
8. Relics to be made available to lower level druids, shamans, and paladins. Nothing extravagant, just something worthwhile.
9. More class quests. Hello Great Cat Spirit. Why won’t you speak to me?
10. Stag travel form. Let Tauren keep Cheetah.
11. %Spirit to count as a Intellect, for all “faith-based classes”. IE Shamans, Druids, Priests and Paladins.
12. Fishing to be more fun. Once in a while, we fish enchanting materials from the water. Or murlocs with a higher proportion of copper/silver/gold than at level. Or quest starting items that send one cross-world to deliver a message in a bottle.
13. An easier way of getting to Scarlet Monastery than running through Silverpine, swimming through Lordamere, or dying in WPL. Gnomeregan-like teleporter would be nice.
14. Talvash de Kissel as a jewelcrafting trainer.
15. Night Elf Shamans & Forsaken Paladins.
16. A quest to actually race in the Shimmering Flats.
17. A Neutral portal trainer in Gadgetzan, Caverns of Time, or Cenarion Hold.
… whew. Seventeen’s a good start, no?
I want aquatic form to be able to get out of the water. Give a 20% speed reduction or something, but let it /dance!
@Isthla: I’m not sure what your tradeskills are, but if you happen to have Tailoring or another production tradeskill, there’s good money in farming the materials for the rare Primal Nether recipes (if you have one). That’s how I made most of my Epic Flight Form training cost.

@Eric: My husband’s mage would like it, too, since he’s no where close to being able to afford an epic flying mount of his own. Of course, they might require you to have the skill trained …

@Anonymous Poster of 17 Suggestions: You have some great ideas, too. I have always felt there should be a racing quest in Shimmering Flats and looked for it when levelling up there. I’m not sure I would like non-combat pets to have specific auras, though, as it would defeat the purpose of using them as a purely cosmetic accessory. With any luck, the cockroach would give 20 MP5 and I’d have to have one. >.<
@Ermengol: Or at least give them an underwater dance. Then druids could engage in synchronized swimming. ^_^
