@Matticus: Our guild leader, Devilcs, is also a developer. He’s the one responsible for integrating ItemStats so hopefully he’ll be able to get to that soon. We used to have it on our current site but it randomly broke (yet another reason contributing to the need for a new site). ItemStats is great, though. =)

I love Joomla. It was the system I used in my old Guild (http://www.guildaurora.com/). Joomla has many options available for ‘bridging’ the site and the forums. Bridging means one set of logins for the site and forums, as opposed to maintaining two different ones. I believe there’s a lot of bridges out there for the different forums (phpBB, invision, SMF, etc).

Phaelia, consider adding item stats so you can link phat loot drops on the front page.

I love the way it looks by the way! It’s nice and clean.

Maybe using “minor in php” was a bit too strong. Like I said, we’re on the same page. I can Ctrl-F with the best of them… that’s about it.

I love your guild site. Once there’s an extension for phpBB3, I’ll probably be stalking you to get some help. Mostly because I like the feel of it, but partly because we speak the same VB language with the minor in php.

@Kestrel: It doesn’t take a tremendous amount of skill. Just the WoW Model Viewer and a passing knowledge of one or more graphics programs to put multiple pictures together. I will have to look at vBulletin; you have me curious.

@PVT: You can download the Fireboard component from Joomla.org. Then from your administrative console, go to Installers > Components, browse to the file you’ve downloaded, and click “Upload and Install.” Once installed, you should be able to configure it through the Components > Fireboard Forum menu item. Good luck!
