In light of the paradigm shift where neither Tailoring or Leatherworking creates Bind on Pickup epics, here’s help deciding between the additional benefits of these two production tradeskills.

Phaelia Lust for Flower and Dragontouched

Hot on the heels of Aftereight, Leafshine of Steamwheedle Cartel brings us a fresh new Restoration Druid blog in the form of Leafshine: Lust for Flower. With a layout that’s too cute for words and must be seen for oneself, it’s shaping up to be a great new blog! Her introduction article, “Welcome to Leafshine: Lust for Flower” contains a picture of her character that immediately reminded me of a female, elven James Bond and a short confession that she’s tried unsuccessfully to write a blog in the past:

Hang on, there. Why are there entries before this one, if it’s a new blog?

Good question. I’ve had two, short-lived shots at this blog before. I’ve imported the entries, just for completeness’ sake. Hope that’s not a problem, dear reader.

Hopefully a bit of encouragement will help her get up and running full time. Why not stop on by and say hello?

In addition to Leafshine’s new home on the web, the web comic Dragontouched was recently highlighted over at WoWInsider.com. A story-telling comic with a Druid protagonist (unmistakable in blue Moose hat), it’s definitely worth checking out.

P.S. You great new blog authors are going to force me to create new, non-fluffy content (like those Haikus…) to avoid the front page becoming a list of “Wow, check this out!”

LunarBeast: I’m glad that you are enjoying the comic as much as I am. Autumn does a great job, especially for someone new to producing a web comic!

P.S. Your blog is neat! I was really interested to read your impressions of the EverQuest 2 appearance update. I imagine everyone will soon look quite cool … but unfortunately, in a game the relies – at least partially – upon appearances to indicate who your opponents are in PvP, I don’t know if we’ll ever see such a neat change to WoW.

Hey, Stormwalker! Great to hear from you! Our little sprout is growing fast, but don’t call him “little” when he’s around or he’s sure to tell you “I a little bit big!” :-)

Stormwalker
I…I…kinda miss you and your Druidic writings of old. Good to see you’re still around, busy with RL. The little sproutling looks a little bigger now! Regards, Stormwalker, of old.

Over two years later and this is still relevant and so very helpful. I hope you are having a blast with your little sprout, who’s probably running all over the place now. =D

Hi, Too bad this blog is no longer maimtained. Thanks for you post though. I wanted to address the issue of lefties. I am on, and use the N52TE. I use a trackball with my right hand and the n52TE with my left, no problems.
