I feel the definite lack of knowledge with regard to the non-Healing specs of our class. But unfortunately, I don't have the motivation (nor the opportunity) to try out a different spec, be it Feral or Balance. I'm so glad for blogs like Big Bear Butt, Of Teeth and Claws, and Nurturing Instinct. They let me feel like I'm getting my Feral fix as well as providing a tremendous resource if I ever give into the DPS itch as Phaelia (unlikely with my Warlock of Glorious OPness +2 waiting in the wings).<br/><br/>@Philip: Thank you for the comments! I have seen message board posts inquiring about the usefulness of Resto Shaman vs. Resto Druid but never seen any definitive responses. I know that Shaman + Melee is currently one of our toughest matchups (due to Heroism + Bloodlust + Windfury + Grounding Totem), but I'm not sure if other teams struggle with them as much as we do. On the other hand, Resto Druid + Warrior can give a number of niche teams that normally excel a hard time (Warlock + Healer for one). The other day we came up against another Resto Druid + Warrior team. I had to laugh and /say "Wow. This team combination is REALLY damn annoying!"<br/><br/>@Scott: I think we've all been there when it's obvious that a fresh Alterac Valley has opened, effectively wiping out half of our already floundering AB/WSG/EotS force. Soooooooo frustrating. On the other hand, I've been on the receiving end of one of those invites and it <i>is</i> gratifying to be spotted by a Horde ... whatever ... and be able to leave before they have the chance to attack you. =) I haven't seen Lucidity around, yet, but that's probably because I have guild names set to not display. That instance is already screwed though since the horde just roll over us by the time more people join. It's frustrating.
