I imagine Tranquility under the bridge also works best when you have at least one other healer on your team (in 5v5), ready to pick up the slack while you come back up. In 2v2, it's such a mana-intensive spell (relative to the amount healed) that I rarely use it.

Thank you for the tips, Megan!

Tranquility under the bridge has to be timed well and against the right opponents. Usually in Blade's Edge, both teams are mounted and race up the ramps to see what the other team is---usually the first clash is in the middle of the bridge.

Now, DOTgib teams (eg Lock/SPriest/Healer or another Lock/SPriest) and Heroism/Bloodlust gib teams usually want to initiate the fight very early---they'll rush in mounted, pop AE fears, totems, and other offensive cooldowns very quickly to try and get one of yours down.

As soon as I see this type of team run in, I quickly get off some basic HOTs and jump off the bridge and position underneath. The goal then is to outlast the initial barrage of gibgibgib, and Tranquility is overpowering when it lasts it's full duration. Underneath I cannot be silenced, interrupted, stunned or feared and my buddies play full survival mode using defensive cooldowns.

If things are still hazy, my teammates also jump down. If not, I travel form back up to the top. Your mileage may vary.

I wouldn't want my druid underneath the bridge. They need to play LOS game, but underneath the middle of the bridge is WAAAY too far from being in position to continue healing on your teammates upstairs after Tranq is done.
