Hello, Fleethoof!

I think it would be wonderful to have a 41-point Restoration talent that was helpful in PvP, especially considering the fact that it's our most viable PvP tree at the moment (which is unfortunate since many Druids wishing to PvP naturally gravitated toward the feral side of our class). Unfortunately, I think the very act of turning into a Tree of Life is like a huge beacon that says "Kill me before I provide an endless supply of HP to my teammates!" And you're right; without the instantaneous ability to switch to our two escape/survivability forms (Cheetah and Bear), switching into Treeform would handicap us tremendously.

I personally LOVE the idea of an Armor bonus when a tree, but I doubt we will see it happen because of the potential of Tree tanking. Of course, they could solve that by applying the Paladin threat reduction to our heals ... ha!

Dispel poisons and curses are coming soon to the form. So at least there's that. But any sort of movement reduction makes it absolutely moot for use in PvP since we're a class that depends upon mobility for survival (which at least partially explains our lackluster performance in larger Arenas).

Thanks for your comments!

I'm the same spec as you for arena Phaelia. However, I wish that I could spec 8/11/42 and have a USEFUL 41 point PvP talent. Even if ToL was buffed to help in PvP, it would STILL be risky to use. To get into bear form or travel form would require two shifts and you can be banished by locks. It also is (or can become) mana intensive to be constantly shifting. That in and of itself warrents a removal of the self snare, a buff to the aura (maybe increase the % and have it based on int? IDK, something that PvPers could use too), at least a 200% armor boost, and use of dispel poison and remove curse. I mean, it IS a 41 point talent, it SHOULD be a better all around healing form than caster form, right?
