As reported by a supposed Blizzcon attendee (and reposted by Sakura of Shadowmoon, the signature ability of the new Hero Class, the Death Knight:

It is possible that this information is false as an article recently posted to WoWInsider.com specifically stated that there was no information in the demo related to the Death Knight class. Information that has been released concerning this class has also stated that it won’t use Mana, Rage, or Energy so the image posted by Baldahr from Shadowmoon may be little more than a convincing fake:
If it is, Arag0rn will have infuriated many players of the Druid class, myself included. If it isn’t … well, I guess we can just rename Lifebloom to LifeBOOM.

You’re sure to gobble up this group of wonderful pictures from readers who donned both feathers and beak in celebration of Turkey Day, 2008!

Hey, look at the bright side, lifebloom lasts 7 seconds, so, you will atleast get one tick off first, if not, you get the final tick for healing
It will be worse against direct healing spells though, among the healer classes, I guess druids suffer the least.

Unfortunately, Druids would be the most adversely effected by this ability. A Paladin, Shaman, or Priest can simply opt not to heal the person afflicted. But a Druid — who relies upon keeping HoTs stacked on their target for healing — have no control over the fact that the afflicted target is taking incredible damage from her HoTs and must rely upon the person in question to recognize they have the debuff and to quickly remove any and all Heals over Time (especially Lifebloom which will explode in 6 seconds or less).
To early to say anything now really. It will just be like those mental duels my PvP horny teenage mage always do. To many unknown factors. Though I see it more like a 6 second execute. You apply it so that the target cannot receive healing, new spells and abilities may counter it in WotIK. Though, concerning HoT’s you can always make a dispell macro. Make it a red button
