In the spirit of Alamo and out of interest in visitor demographics, I put together the poll at right asking you to indicate your current (or most often-used) talent spec. Please select from primarily Restoration, Balance, or Feral builds; a Balance/Restoration hybrid or Feral/Restoration hybrid; some other variant; or “WUT IS DURID LOL?” if you happen to not have a Druid.

You’re sure to gobble up this group of wonderful pictures from readers who donned both feathers and beak in celebration of Turkey Day, 2008!
I’m currently 1/13/15 since I’m only 38.
I like the bear picture
Bare durids is 4 funs when u can charje & stun & haf sum armors lol.
Grats on choosing to roll a druid! And thanks for sharing your build. Any idea what you’re leaning towards at end game?
I recently swiched to oomking for PVP Arenas
Im currently using a strange PVP Oomkin build.
41/11/8
Having the Feral charge, brutal impact and demo roar in the feral tree,in the resto tree im using furor and natural shapeshifter.
And in the Balance all the talens needed.
But i will make some changes because i run out of mana very fast.
I’ve ran my druid mostly restauration-specced with the ultimate Feral Charge toolbox until the very beginning of TBC. Then I switched to my current Shaman.
61 resto atm
toying with my level 22 druid who is gonna be levelled as balance
I’m running a balance/resto build, but with enough in resto to call it resto. I leveled up with a feral build and it was rough trying to switch, but yesterday during an AV I had well over 100k in healing, more than half as much as the next lowest person.
So what if I level slower now, I can heal my butt off! =)
i also have a level 12 moonkin druid too i will have 1 balance and 1 feral i hope in this summer i can level him
I think I’m building towards 1/18/42 build. I stopped at 13 in feral right now and I’m filling up Resto, then I’ll go back and finish filling up feral. I really want that tree!

Thank you for sharing, everyone! And you people levelling multiple druids are crazy. I considered doing the same to try out Feral, but then I remembered how much I didn’t enjoy playing my Rogue, assumed the playstyle would be pretty similar, and rolled a Warlock instead.
Josh i recomend you to stick to feral for leveling,if you want to instance, put your stamina gear and go to tank.
8/11/42 atm for pvp. Don’t really have plans to change, but I’ve been full feral tank, and full balance doomkin for stretches as well. And have gear for all them
The up/downside of druid is that there is always gear to get!
Stardust, I was putting points into Resto simply because it took me until I was 70 to spec Holy as my Paladin and suddenyl realize it was very boring for me.
So I’m putting points into Resto and healing in BGs to make sure I actually enjoy it before I level the full way. Perhaps I’ll spec feral and just switch to resto to pvp from time to time though. Thanks!
My druid’s deep, deep resto:
0/2/59
I currently have an innefficient 17/0/44 build… and will be changing it tonight (or soon) to 11/0/50.
I have been raiding, and just phased out of solo PVE… so I am not sure how much I will hurt for losing 5 of my balance points.
Also, I personally don’t see alot of use in a Resto/Feral cross build… as it’s so unfocused and you will not get any benefit using resto gear in melee… it’s just backasswards to me.
I find people who span the resto/feral tree are usually easily bored and want to switch it up without having to respec, but I find it very inefficient for properly filling DPS or healing role. And spanning all three trees almost equally or sinking in more then 10 pnts in all three trees I think is just a waste… correct me if I am wrong or have oversighted something.
@Silverrealm: You made me go back and read this article to figure out what it was about. ^_^ I don’t see much purpose to Feral/Resto, either, but I wanted to cover all the bases.
